Anther hard working and spirited display went unrewarded at Welling. It looked like Matt Jones' strike was going to at least bring a point back home if not be the catapult to win the match. Unfortunatly it wasn't to be. Every game from now until the end of the season is now viewed as a cup final.
Form guide- Chelmsford are unbeaten in five league games after drawing 1-1 with Eastbourne last time out. Hungerford narrowly lost 3-2 at Welling last Saturday. That was their first game in two weeks after a 2-2 draw at St Albans.
Team news- Alex Osborn, Jake Jessup and Bradley Stevenson have all departed Chelmsford. Ollie Muldoon and Tom Wraight are back in contention after playing sixty minutes in a friendly on Tuesday night. For Hungerford, Yan Klukowski is the only confirmed absentee.
Star man - Tom Knowles has just extended his loan spell with Chelmsford till the end of the season and Knowles played a pivotal role in the reverse fixture including scoring the opening goal. Joe Tomlinson is the new Hungerford captain and empahsises captains qualities on pitch. His crossing ability from wide areas also make him a key player in the side.
Form guide- These sides have already met twcie this season both in Essex. The Clarets won 2-1 in the FA Trophy and 4-1 in the league. Last season they did the double over the Crusaders, winning 6-0 at Bulpit Lane and 4-1 at home.
