Havant and Waterloovile v Hungerford Town
When: 4th September 2019
Where: Westleigh Park, PO9 5TH
K.O 7.45PM
After a slow start to the season things don't get any easier for Hungerford against one of the title favourites. Despite numerous good performances the rub of green still hasn't gone our way. A trip to the South coast sounds nice but Havant are still unbeaten this season and will provide a stern test on Wednesday night. If you offered fans a point right now many would snap your hand off!
Form guide- The hosts comfortably dispatched Oxford City three-nil at the weekend after a frustrating nil-nil draw with Eastbourne on Bank Holiday Monday. That was after they beat Tonbridge Angels three-one. The visitors got beat three-nil on Saturday after a point against Dartford in a two-all draw. That came after defeat at Wealdstone just two days earlier.
Team news- Both sides should have fully fit squads to choose from after no fresh injury news emerged from their games on Saturday.
Star man- Jonah Ayunga is the divisions joint top scorer with six goals so far and will be the hosts main dangerman on Wednesday night. Midfielder George Smith has come in and provided a tough tackling impetus to Hungerford's midfield. Still only a teenager the youngster is still learning his trade but looks to be a key component to Ian Herrings side for the future.
Head to head- These side have only met twice before in the 2017/18 campaign. Havant won both meetings one-nil at Bulpit Lane and two-nil at home. Jason Prior scored all three goals.
