Hungerford will welcome Eastbourne Boro to Bulpit Lane on Saturday, but this time with a new manager Jamie Howell, let's hope he is more complimentary than the last one!
Boro defeated The Crusaders at Bulpit Lane last season 2-0 with former Boss Tommy Widdrington saying it was the worst ground her had been to, there was then a social media spat between Wilkinson and Widdrington following the 2-2 draw at Boro's Priory Lane Ground. At the time it certainly added some spice for Saturday's forthcoming fixture, however both Wilkinson and Widdrington have moved on from their respective clubs and now we enter a new chapter with Eastbourne Boro.
Boro are a point and two places ahead of The Crusaders in the league and head to Bulpit Lane with 1 point from their last five games.
Hungerford management are looking to get some wins together after a few disappointing results over the past month, but with a convincing win away to Whitehawk and a solid draw away to St Albans The Crusaders are hoping they have hit a bit of form. The team has felt a little depleted over the last month with injuries and whilst both Callum Willmoth and Scott Rees are still out, it is good to see both Partridge and Hopper back in the squad.
New signing Alex Wall may be be fit in time, but will be assessed on Thursday by Physio Seanagh McCarthy.
