The Hampshire side has never been a happy hunting place for the Hungerford and the squad news was not great going into the game. An injury to Elis Watts and the unavailability of both Louis McGrory and Ramani Medford-Smith did not help and misgivings Hungerford may have had going into the game. Rhys Tyler however was a welcomed return. They would be up against former Hungerford favourite Seager up front for the Hawks.
Both sides in truth struggled to create any clear cut chances in the first half. Alfie Santos put Dawid Regula through after half an hour but he slipped at the vital moment to ruin any chances of back to back league goals. Moments later it was Regula again this time on the end of a Jacob Bancroft cross but his attempt was cleared off the line. This was the closest either side came to breaking the deadlock in a fairly quiet half attacking wise.
The second half started with a Joe Shepherd effort just over from a corner, then Bancroft broke free down the left but his shot was well saved at the near post.
On the hour Ryan Clarke produced a brilliant stop to keep things level another ex Hungerford player Alfie Whittingham the Havant player denied. Hungerford did look a threat though and Santos was the main creator he set up Brad Hooper for a shot but his curling effort went just wide.
With 15 to go Havant missed probably the best chance of the half when Whittingham again could not finish off a good move. By now they had 3 ex Hungerford players on the pitch with Whittingham, Seager and Harvey Bradbury now on the pitch.
Hungerford though proved to be rock solid with Clarke and the back four marshalled by Berry-Hargreaves and Jarra keeping Havant at bay. A pleasing second straight point on the road in a row for Hungerford who gave their all on the day
