Hungerford striker Dawid Regula was back in the starting XI and he made an immediate impact after 50 seconds when he converted a Ramarni Medford-Smith ball into the box.
Moments later the home side really should have double the lead, Elis Watts fizzing a ball across the six yar box but no one was on hand to convert.
In the first 20 minutes Watts and Jacob Bancroft were causing big problems to Bracknell down the flanks but the away side gradually settled and came more into the match as an attacking threat.
After a build up of pressure on 32mins the Robins found the equaliser when a ball into he box was headed across by Scrimshaw and Anthony Chesire was on hand to head the ball past Ryan Clarke
The second half started with a lot of stoppages and the game struggled to flow. Watts had a shot deflected over on the hour but Bracknell always looked dangerous especially on the break.
Hungerford’s best chance of the half fell with 10 minutes to go. Watts found a run from full back Louie Paget down the right hand side but his shot was well saved by at the near post by Eacott
In added on time Bracknell broke from a Hungerford corner to win a corner of their own. It was whipped in by Herbert and bundled in by Liam Tack for the late winner. Tough to take for Hungerford who despite not playing at their free flowing best will have felt they deserved at least a point.
