Bobby Wilkinson has signed 29-year-old Paul Stonehouse from Slough Town FC to provide a strong option for the Crusaders left back and left offensive midfield. Paul is a highly regarded, pacey defender who can also play in midfield. Paul started his career at Forest Green Rovers where he played 170 times, becoming the youngest player to reach 100 competitive appearances in the Conference.
Further experience gained at Mansfield Town, Bath, Oxford City and Slough ensures that Paul will be a fantastic attribute to the Crusaders core squad of players.
All of the existing Core Crusaders Squad have resigned for the 2017/18 season and Paul will add quality and balance to the already resilient Crusaders defence.
